Gran Canaria, Canary Islands

I would like to share the pictures from my trip to Gran Canaria, Canary Islands in December 2013. I bought the ticket there just because it’s the cheapest ticket I found in restplass website. The total cost was 4220 NOK (512 EUR) for 2 people (1 adult and 1 child) which includes flight ticket Trondheim, Norway – Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, meal during the flight, transport airport-hotel (return) and accommodation at Balito Beach hotel for one week.

I was in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria from 26 December 2013 to 02 January 2014. It was a nice trip with many nice beaches and delicious food;-)

The next trip will be visiting other islands in the Canary Islands or nearby islands. It will depend on what restplass can offer….of course, for me it’s the cheapest one 😉

      Thanks Sara:-)
I am sure you will enjoy your trip there. Have fun while exploring the scenery, beaches, the food and everything in Gran Canaria 😉
If you have time, maybe you can visit Roque Nublo. I did not manage to visit it:-(

I probably will go to Roque since we plan to rent a car and explore the interior of the island also 🙂 By the way, how did you travel when staying there by bus or by car?

Hi Sara, since my hotel closed to the Puerto Rico beach, so mostly I walk most of the time. Except when we went to other places like Las Palmas, Aqualand and Maspalomas, we took the bus.
We also took a free day trip around the island with bus. There are several companies offering free day trip to some places and they will take you to a place and hear the presentation about their product, but you don’t need to buy it 😉
