Crumble Apple Cake

I have lots of apples at home and want to make it into a crumble cake. After searching on the internet, I found an easy crumble apple cake recipe in Crumble Apple Cake. Herewith the translation of the recipe into English:

Ingredients:

– Dough

  • 4 dl flour
  • 1.5 dl sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 100 gr butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water

– Filling

  • 3 dl vanilla cream
  • 2 apples
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Procedure:

Put all the ingredients for the dough in a food processor with a chopping knife . Run at full speed until the dough crumbles away . Knead if necessary 1 tablespoon water if you find that the dough seems dry. (If you don’t have food processor , crumble with hand,  first crumble the butter into the dry ingredients. Add the egg and possibly 1 tbsp water and knead the dough together quickly).

Squeeze half of the dough in the bottom of a round shape (22 cm diameter ) with the baking tin .

Grease the vanilla cream. Add apple slices and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Crumble the rest of dough over the cake with your fingers . It does not matter if the entire cake is not covered with dough.

Bake on a rack in oven at 200 ° C for 30-35 min. The cake should be lightly golden on top. Cool cake completely in shape . Take it out of the mold and take the baking paper from the underside. Place cake on a suitable barrel.

My home made crumble apple cake 🙂

It’s good especially when you eat it warm with vanilla ice cream on top 🙂
