Amsterdam – Brussels – Paris (Part 1)

I wanted to visit Keukenhof long time ago. Keukenhof is the largest flower garden in the world which located near Lisse, Netherland. Finally I visited the garden in the Easter vacation in April 2012. I searched for the flight ticket in finn and found an affordable ticket from Trondheim to Amsterdam. We had to fly to Talinn first then continued to Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam.

Me and my son arrived late in the afternoon in Amsterdam and we stayed in a Tulip Inn hotel in central Amsterdam (close to RLD). The next day we check-out of the hotel but we still put our luggage in the hotel. Me and my son walked around the city center, visited Amsterdam zoo and went to Hard Rock Cafe to buy t-shirt (I like to collect Hard Rock Cafe t-shirt from all the city that I’ve visited 🙂 ).

In the afternoon, we picked up our luggage and went to the Schiphol airport to meet my friend who arrived a day later. From Schiphol airport, we went to De Nachtegaal hotel which located near Keukenhof. We stayed there for one night. We checked-out early in the morning and bring our luggage to Keukenhof. We put all our luggage in the locker near the entrance to Keukenhof and had breakfast in a café there. We spent half day walking and taking pictures in the garden.

After finished walking around in Keukenhof, we took bus to Amsterdam central station. We continued our trip to Volendam by bus from the station. We had lunch in Volendam and took pictures of ourself dressed in original Volendam costume.

We took the bus back to Amsterdam Central station and continued taking train to  Den Haag. We stayed at Bel Air hotel in Den Haag for two nights. After checked-in, we took a walk to the city center and had dinner at one of Indonesian restaurant, De Poentjak. The food was ok, but the services  were not good. They put us at the table very closed to the kitchen even though there were lots of empty spaces. When we ordered food, the waitress told me that the food I ordered was too little and I had to order more, WTH! Then, I ordered more food but I will not recommend my friends to visit this restaurant.
